Cardholder's Terms & Condition

  • Application for membership of Privilege Card is open to any individual over the age of 18 years who owns a Bajaj motorcycle or a three wheeler.

  • The applicant must supply all information required in the application form together with the relevant documentation (if any). Acceptance or rejection of any applications is in the absolute discretion of David Pieris Motor Company Limited.

  • On acceptance of the application for membership, a Customer will be issued a Privilege Card on which his/her name, account number, and the national identity card number will be embossed.

  • The Privilege Card remains the property of David Pieris Motor Company Limited (DPMC) at all times and must be returned to the Company in terms of Clause 20 hereto upon this promotion campaign being terminated or in the event the Cardholder no longer wishes to be part of this campaign.

  • Cardholders may earn Genuine Points by presenting the Privilege Card when purchasing Genuine Spare parts at any of the following two outlets,- Spare Parts Outlet, David Pieris Motor Company Limited , No. 89, Sri Saddarma Mawatha, Colombo-10 or Spare Parts Outlet, David Pieris Motor Company Limited , No. 83. Kandy Road, Yakkala.

  • The basis of allocation of points and the value of such points shall be determined by DPMC in its absolute discretion from time to time.

  • Cardholders can redeem Genuine Points accumulated at any of the abovementioned two outlets with the next purchase of Genuine Spare parts from said outlets. Redemption of points earned will be allowed only on next purchase of Genuine Spare parts from either one of the said two outlets and in the event it is not redeemed with the next purchase, the points earned will be cancelled.

  • In order to collect points, the Cardholder must present the Privilege Card to the cashier, each time he purchases parts.

  • Genuine Points are not awarded for any purchases made before the date of issue of the Privilege Card nor are Genuine Points awarded for any purchases made in respect of which the Privilege Card is not presented to the Cashier.

  • Genuine Points are awarded for Genuine Spare parts upon such spare parts being purchased. However, cancelled or returned orders will not be eligible for points and the points will be deducted from the accumulated points upon an order being returned.

  • Genuine Points are not convertible to cash or cannot be refunded by cash.

  • The Cardholders privileges and rights to enjoy the offers of the Company are governed by the terms and conditions set out herein or by such other terms and conditions as may be applicable from time to time. Failure to comply with such terms and conditions shall disqualify the Cardholder from earning points. Deliberate violation of any term or conditions specified herein or as may be specified from time to time, will entitle the Company to cancel the Privilege Card.

  • The Privilege Card is issued for exclusive use of the cardholder for the purchase of Genuine Spare parts only. Neither the Privilege Card nor the points earned there under shall be transferred under any circumstance. Genuine Points are not transferable and may not be pooled with the Genuine Points of any other Cardholder.

  • All relevant taxes (including VAT or service charges, or such other relevant levies) incurred in all transactions involving the presentation of the Privilege Card shall be borne by the cardholder.

  • The offers available to a Cardholder may be revised from time to time by DPMC as it deems fit.

  • A Cardholder can redeem up to a maximum the 80% of the value of the invoice from the points earned on the Privilege Card. The balance must be paid in cash.

  • DPMC shall not be under any obligation to replace any Privilege Cards which have been misplaced, lost, damaged or stolen. Cardholders should notify DPMC of any loss or damage to the Privilege Card forthwith. Lost/Damaged Privilege Cards maybe replaced at a cost to be determined by DPMC, payable by the Customer.

  •  DPMC has the absolute discretion to reject the Privilege Card if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that the Privilege Card has been tampered with whether intentionally or otherwise.

  •  Privilege card is a promotional campaign and the Company is under no obligation to continue this campaign. The Company shall be entitled to discontinue, at absolute discretion, this promotional campaign or any other special campaign offered in relation hereto at the absolute discretion of the management. In the event the Company discontinues the Privilege Card or any special offer made there under, the Company will be under no obligation to compensate the Cardholder for any loss or frustration of expectation. In the event the Privilege Card campaign is discontinued, the Cardholder will be notified in writing to redeem the available points earned on the Privilege Card. The Cardholder will ensure that upon the receipt of such notice, the points available in the Privilege Cardholder's account are redeemed within 60 days from the date of the notice. Any points not so redeemed shall be deemed to have expired after 60 days from the date of the notice and shall stand cancelled.

·         The Cardholder shall within 90 days from the date of the notice, return the Privilege Card to the Company either by registered post or by hand delivery.
